About the role
We are seeking a Clinical Research Fellow to join a well-established multi-disciplinary research and clinical trials team at the DRC.
You will work on a portfolio of trials under the supervision of Professor Cath Mummery, focusing on assessing the safety and efficacy of disease-modifying therapies in Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia, including immunotherapies and gene therapies.
This role offers experience in a clinical research environment focused on cognitive disorders, with close involvement in the Specialist Cognitive Disorders Clinics at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
An honorary contract will be sought from UCLH NHS Foundation Trust, requiring a DBS check.
The position is available from 01 August, funded initially until 31 July by the Neurogenetic Therapies Programme, with potential for extension.
While primarily full-time, part-time requests (minimum 50% FTE) will be considered.

About you
You must be a licensed UK Medical Practitioner, with completed general medical training to ST3 level, MRCP or equivalent, and experience with dementia patients. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and initiative are essential.
This role qualifies for a Skilled Worker visa or Global Talent visa under UK immigration laws, welcoming international applicants requiring sponsorship.
What we offer
The salary range is £48,000 - £75,000 per annum, including London Allowance, based on NHS contract and training stage.
