A leading healthcare trust in the UK is seeking a Clinical Research Fellow to join its rheumatology research team. The Clinical Research Fellow will be a part of the rheumatology research team, working alongside King's College London colleagues in the Centre for Rheumatic Disease Clinical Trials Group. The team facilitates the delivery of a range of commercial, non-commercial, and academic studies that are undertaken by clinicians within the Rheumatology Department. The focus of the clinical research is on rheumatic disease and includes the evaluation of current treatments and practices, as well as the investigation of the efficacy and effectiveness of new treatments.
The post holder will be responsible for clinical oversight with a particular focus on clinical care and patient safety, supported by the lead investigators and more senior clinical research fellow colleagues. They will assist with data management and will undertake analyses of data collected and reporting of results. They should have a basic understanding of statistical methods to support accurate interpretation and reporting.
