A leading healthcare provider in North Yorkshire is seeking a Clinical Reconnect Practitioner. The role involves working autonomously in police detention cells to assess individuals’ mental health needs. Ideal candidates will be qualified professionals with a strong background in mental health care and communication skills. The position offers a salary of £42,094 to £47,466 for full-time work.
Our Health in Justice service line is expanding into non-Custodial healthcare, a person-centred approach delivered via a solid and consolidated infrastructure aimed to assess individuals\' mental health and neurodiversity requirements, to redirect them to the most appropriate channel. We have an opportunity for a Clinical Reconnect Practitioner to join our team in North Yorkshire. As a Clinical Reconnect Practitioner you will work autonomously in police detention cells, in order to identify and respond to requests of screening and assessment of people with identified health needs in contact with the criminal justice system.
Qualifications - Qualified Registered Mental Nurse, Mental Health Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with current registration with the relevant professional body. - Knowledge and experience in the female health and social care pathway. - Substantial evidence of continuing professional development and post-registration training. - Experience of psychosocial interventions and awareness of substance misuse. - Excellent communication skills and ability to gain appropriate level of consent. - Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards. - Knowledge of evidence based practice, health promotion, NICE guidelines and pharmacology.

Salary and Requirements This position is full time, working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £42,094 to £47,466 depending on experience. Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role; offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
