Job summary

Cytel is seeking an experienced R Automation and AI Solutions Developer to lead development activities for clinical studies. You will collaborate with statisticians, programmers, data scientists, and AI leads to identify workflow improvements, create proof-of-concept tools, and mature prototypes into reusable solutions.

You will utilize LLM-supported coding, develop R/Shiny dashboards, ensure proper validation, and produce comprehensive testing and documentation for regulatory delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong R programming skills and experience with clinical data
• Familiarity with CDISC standards and clinical trial data
• Experience building automation tools, R packages, Shiny apps/dashboards
• Understanding regulated delivery: validation, audit trails, traceability and testing
• Experience with Git, code reviews, unit tests and CI/CD
• Experience using LLMs for coding, summarization, extraction, documentation or workflow automation

Responsibilities

• Interpret user requirements and identify workflow improvements.
• Define scope for requests and build proof-of-concept tools.
• Utilize LLM-supported coding and R/Shiny tools.
• Create testing and documentation for developed solutions.
• Ensure prototypes align with regulated clinical development expectations.
• Present results to technical and non-technical audiences.
