An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join our Major Trauma Centre at St George’s Hospital. This role offers the chance to work with patients experiencing serious and life-changing injuries, as well as their families and staff within the Major Trauma service.
The post holder will become part of a multidisciplinary team where psychology is highly valued. Alongside clinical responsibilities, there will be opportunities to develop psychological care pathways within the Major Trauma Centre as part of the Integrated Psychological Model of Care pilot.

The Clinical Psychology Service at the Major Trauma Centre was established in May 2012 and supports adult patients across the hospital. The service includes staff training, consultation, and clinical work with patients and families, such as:
Most clinical work occurs on trauma wards, ICU, or during rehabilitation sessions, offering creative opportunities for intervention delivery.
