Job Title: Clinical Psychologist (Full-Time)

Salary: £52,000 per annum

Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire
Service: Low Secure CAMHS Wards
Ward Capacity: 18 beds

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join a dynamic and multi-disciplinary Psychological Therapies Team at a CAMHS service in Potters Bar. The service provides care for young people within a low secure setting, many of whom present with complex developmental trauma or behavioral profiles aligned with a developmental-trauma model of care.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialist psychological assessments and interventions for young people on the wards.

Act as care coordinator for two or more patients, ensuring the highest standard of care.

Offer a psychological perspective for case formulation and team discussions, including for patients not under direct care.

Provide clinical supervision to assistant psychologists across both CAMHS and adult services.

Oversee the collection, processing, and reporting of clinical outcome measures and feedback from service users and carers.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records, ensuring timely documentation and reporting.

Contribute to the training and supervision of ward staff as part of the psychological therapies team.

Optionally supervise trainee psychotherapists on placement, in line with service needs.

Requirements:

HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist

Experience working within CAMHS and/or secure settings desirable

Strong organisational and communication skills
