Clinical Psychologist (Physical Health), Warwickshire

Are you an empathetic Clinical Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills?

An opportunity has become available for an 8b Clinical Psychologist to work within a physical health setting at a children’s hospital in Coventry, Warwickshire. This is a locum role starting immediately for an ongoing period of 3 months, with full-time hours expected. The qualified Clinical Psychologist will help establish a pathway for patients with fatigue, including long Covid. The post holder will work closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising Occupational Therapists, CBT Therapists, Psychiatrists, and Registered Mental Health Nurses. Travel to different services and patients’ homes may be required. Full vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in adult mental health
  • Have experience in physical health, especially chronic fatigue
  • Be analytical with good attention to detail
