Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist to join our Older People psychology team in Hertfordshire. The post involves specialist assessments and interventions, supervising and supporting other psychology staff, and working closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team.

We welcome placements for trainee clinical psychologists and the post holder will supervise and collaborate with local university partners.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology.
• Registered with the HCPC as a clinical or counselling psychologist.

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist psychological assessment including neuropsychological assessment and risk assessment.
• Provide highly specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals.
• Supervise and support Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
• Contribute to service development, evaluation, research and teaching, maintaining CPD standards.
• Assist in formulation, diagnosis and case management planning for clients.
