Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join our client’s busy Neuro Complex Care team at their purpose-built Neurological Care and Neuro-Rehab Centre in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

This part-time position involves working between one and three days per week, with flexible hours and salary negotiations based on the FTE salary.

Our client is a leading independent provider of neurological care and rehabilitation for adults aged 18 and above with conditions such as Dementias, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Korsakoff’s syndrome, Traumatic brain injury, and post-injury rehabilitation for brain, spinal injuries, and stroke.

The centre aims to promote dignity and independence, working closely with patients and their families to create personalized care plans.

The multidisciplinary team includes a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, Clinical Neuropsychologist, Neuropsychiatrist, Speech and Language Therapist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, and support staff. You will work alongside senior neuropsychologists providing clinical supervision.

Your responsibilities include:

• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
• Conducting neuropsychological assessments and interventions
• Providing face-to-face treatments for mental health issues
• Developing behavioral strategies and cognitive skills
• Writing reports and attending care reviews
• Supervising Assistant Psychologists

Candidate requirements:

• Full HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Neuropsychologist
• Experience working with adults with neurological conditions or dementia
• Knowledge of safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
