A leading healthcare provider in Nottingham is seeking a motivated Clinical Psychologist for a 9-month maternity cover position. The role involves developing a cancer psychology service and providing specialized psychological support to colorectal cancer patients. Candidates will work closely with a team of experienced psychologists and have opportunities for professional development.
The post is a 9-month fixed-term, 0.4 WTE Band 8a position (maternity cover) within the Department of Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology.
We seek a motivated and dynamic Clinical Psychologist to develop our recently established cancer psychology service for colorectal cancer patients.
Clinical supervision will be provided by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, tailored to the experience and needs of the successful candidate. The primary base will be City Campus, NUH, with potential work at the QMC campus.
The department has a strong track record in establishing cancer services, including a highly regarded blood cancer service. It is active in psycho-oncology research and contributes to national initiatives in the field.
