Job description

Clinical Psychologist in Adult and Paediatric Burns

1. Working closely with the multidisciplinary burns team to offer psychological care to children and adults, and theirfamilies, under the care of the burns service 2. Working with children and young people and their families, as well as adults, through consultation with staff, direct work and attending multidisciplinary clinics/meetings 3. Providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy/input, offering advice and consultation to the MDT, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures 4. Utilising research skills for audit, policy and service development and research 5. Providing clinical and professional supervision to trainees undertaking doctoral training, where appropriate 6. Undertaking service development, where required 7. Delivering informal and formal teaching and training as required to the MD
