Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a 12-month fixed-term clinical psychologist post in the HyperAcute Rehabilitation in reach team. The role focuses on specialist assessment, formulation, treatment and consultancy for complex rehabilitation needs including brain injury.

It includes teaching and research within a small team and requires HCPC registration. The successful candidate will work closely with a consultant and allied health professionals to develop

Qualifications

• Honours degree in psychology at 2:1 or above.
• Doctoral qualification in clinical psychology, or equivalent for those trained before 1996.

Responsabilités

• Carry out highly specialist psychological assessment using interviews, observations, questionnaires and tests.
• Develop specialised plans for psychological intervention based on assessment.
• Deliver a range of psychological interventions across teams with formulations.
• Explain complex formulations to patients and families and write clear formal reports.
• Provide training, supervision and consultancy to the multidisciplinary team.
• Take part in setting up and developing the 12-month proof-of-concept service.
• Manage behaviours that challenge and maintain records and outcomes.
