Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Clinical Psychologist to join the Mental Health Liaison and Crisis Resolution Home Treatment teams on the Isle of Wight. You will deliver specialist psychological assessment and therapy, provide professional leadership, and work with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient care.

The role requires a doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology, HCPC registration, and experience across care

Qualifications

• A doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology and registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
• Accredited registration with a relevant psychological professional body (e.g. HCPC, BABCP, ACAT, EMDR Association).
• Experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment across care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality specialist psychological assessment and formulation.
• Deliver individual and group psychological therapy to Isle of Wight Community Mental Health Teams.
• Provide clinical leadership across Mental Health Liaison and CRHT teams and supervise colleagues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote best practice and service development.
