Qualifications

• Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment across care settings including outpatient, community, and inpatient.
• Experience of working with children, young people and families and carers.
• Knowledge of legislation relating to mental health and client groups.
• Doctoral level knowledge of evidence-based practice relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Analyses complex client information from tests, interviews and observations.
• Adjusts and refines psychological formulations using multiple models.
• Evaluates treatment options considering theoretical and developmental factors.
• Maintains appropriate boundaries with service users.
• May undertake duties not specified, commensurate with the role and service need.
