Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to lead highly specialist psychological assessment and formulation across acute medical wards and outpatient clinics, working with medical teams to deliver a sustainable programme of psychological support.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology required.
HCPC registration required.
At least 2 years post-qualification experience in relevant field.
Experience of working in cardiology desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and communicate clinical opinions to inform case formulation.
Develop specialised plans for formal psychological intervention based on assessment and formulation.
Implement a range of psychological interventions for individuals, teams and groups and supervise trainees.
Supervise doctoral trainees and Assistant Psychologists as appropriate and provide teaching on Clinical Psychology.
Keep up to date with relevant clinical research and supervise research activities as appropriate.
