Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Applied Psychologist, Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, or other accredited therapist to join our Core CAMHS Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong team ethic, accountability, interest in research and service development, and the ability to work under pressure. We support your professional development within this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide specialist evidence-based assessment and therapy to children and adolescents with mental health difficulties.
  2. Be an active member of the multidisciplinary CAMHS team, contributing to service governance and development.
  3. Offer advice and consultation on psychological care to professionals and other agencies.
  4. Work autonomously within professional guidelines and organizational policies.
  5. Utilize research skills for audit, policy, service development, and research activities.
  6. Communicate effectively and sensitively with clients, families, and professionals, especially when discussing complex or distressing information.
  7. Deliver flexible clinical work tailored to the needs of young people and their families in outpatient and other settings.
