Then this is an exciting time to join our expanding team of qualified and in-training psychological professionals to work with Adults. We are looking for a reflective clinical psychologist who can work with enthusiasm and creativity.
You will be supported by a consultant clinical psychologist, and there can be formalised training opportunities for the successful candidate such as structured clinical management. We particularly welcome those interested in supporting the teams to mobilise a complex emotional needs pathway for adults, or those with a flair for working with individuals with complex emotional needs/trauma.
o Accountable for own professional practice in the delivery of specialist care to clients with complex emotional or mental health needs.o To provide psychological assessment and formulation of clients with highly complex conditions based on the appropriate use, interpretation, and integration of data from a variety of sources.o To provide (where appropriate) clinical supervision and training to colleagues within the designated psychology service and to other members of the multidisciplinary team.o To be compassionate in meeting the needs of clients, their carers and families.o (Where appropriate) to undertake formal research / service evaluations and, where suitably trained, to act as field supervisor for doctorate clinical psychology trainees.o To be pro-active in continual service improvement.o To promote, at all times, a positive image of people with mental health difficulties, of the adult and psychology services and the wider Trust.
