Job Title: Adults Clinical Psychologist

Location: Care First – Pheasey, Walsall area, Birmingham - The Clinical Team will support the provision of services across a number of sites within Walsall, Kings Norton and Walsall.

Salary: up to £60,000 depending on experience plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (payable as one payment of £1,500 after one month and another £1,500 after probation). T&C's apply.

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks per annum, 37.5 hours per week

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required

We’re looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team who will contribute to assessment and intervention plans for adults. This role offers variety and impact, shaping services and driving change.

Care First aims to improve quality of life for adults with learning difficulties/disabilities, autism, and mental health difficulties, offering support through practical and vocational training.

About the role

The post is based in Pheasey, Walsall. You will join a new clinical team to facilitate MDT working, including Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy, supporting positive clinical outcomes.

You will work within service policies and MDT and Clinical Governance structures to support development and quality assurance.

Our clinical teams foster empowering environments where adults can flourish, with a strong safeguarding culture and involvement in decision-making.

  • Post-graduate doctoral qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic).
  • Registered with HCPC and BPS.
  • Experience supervising Assistant Psychologists.
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with key partners.
  • Sensitivity and conflict resolution skills.
  • Continuing professional development evidence.
  • Post-qualification experience with adults and children.
  • Experience in lecturing/training.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
