Job description

Merco is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join a dedicated neurorehabilitation service in Leeds, supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries. You ll work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality psychological and neuropsychological interventions to support service users in achieving meaningful recovery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments
  • Providing tailored therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions (individual, family, group)
  • Leading or contributing to multi/interdisciplinary formulations and care planning
  • Coordinating care as a keyworker or clinical lead
  • Offering expert guidance to families, carers, and team members
  • Participating in risk assessments and clinical audits
  • Maintaining high standards in clinical record-keeping and professional practice
  • Supporting research, outcome measurement, and ongoing service development

About You:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (BPS accredited) or equivalent
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience in neurorehabilitation or working with adults with acquired brain injury
  • Strong assessment, formulation, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities
  • Resilient and confident in managing complex cases and behaviours
  • Committed to ongoing learning and evidence-based practice
