Job Summary
Would you like to be part of a dedicated team committed to equal access to mental health for neurodivergent people?
We are looking for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join the Devon Adult Autism Intervention Team. You would be part of a multidisciplinary service that includes Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, and Psychiatry. The team operates a tiered service providing signposting, consultation, and profession-specific support. The team works alongside mental health and social care teams across Devon, including Plymouth.
Main duties of the job
The role is dynamic and challenging. The team works across the system to support mainstream and specialist services to meet the needs of neurodivergent people with complex needs. The post holder would work as part of the Multi Disciplinary Team and receive supervision from a senior psychologist. The role involves delivering specialist assessment, neuro-affirmative consultations, trauma-informed support, and interventions to professionals and teams working with autistic individuals.
