The NHS Golden Jubilee is delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity for a clinical psychologist with experience in clinical health psychology to join our team. You will contribute to the high-quality care provided across the specialist national services hosted at this site, including:
We seek an enthusiastic individual to help implement our support offer across these services. You will work closely with existing team members, providing and facilitating support in line with the local Psychology strategy. Join an established team involved in MDT clinical care in areas such as advanced heart failure and transplant, adult congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, and intensive care. The team is led and supported by a consultant clinical psychologist/head of service who will provide necessary support. Ongoing developments offer a great opportunity for skill consolidation and development in physical health psychology.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
A background in MDT working and a keen interest in the specific clinical area are essential. Experience in MDT debriefs, staff training, and staff support activities is advantageous. The successful applicant will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, an excellent professional attitude, and relevant clinical experience.
