Responsibilities
  • Support the team to make differential diagnoses of dementia.
  • Provide neuropsychological assessments and reports.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary case formulations and support reflective practice and training within the team.
  • Contribute to the pathway of care, including pre-assessment counselling, gathering relevant third-party information, direct assessment, diagnostic formulation, post-diagnostic counselling and identification of intervention needs, with liaison to sister teams.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Qualified or newly qualified psychologist; 8a level with willingness to be supported through preceptorship for those new to practice.
  • Strong clinical skills in neuropsychological assessment and psychological formulation.
  • Access to a vehicle and a Full UK driving licence (due to travel and transport considerations).
  • Supportive of the team values of kindness, respect and a sense of fun.
