Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Manager to oversee the Cardiac Rehab Department, lead staff, and manage operations. The role focuses on staffing, budgeting, accreditation, and quality improvement to improve patient outcomes and experience.

The position reports to the Director, with a 7a-5p day shift structure and a commitment to safe, collaborative, and patient-centered care across the program.

Qualifications

• Greater than 2 years directly related experience.
• RN license in NH or other Compact State.
• CPR certification or within 90 days of hire.
• Certification in clinical area or nursing management within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of Cardiac Rehabilitation staff.
• Demonstrate fiscal stewardship by managing resources and assisting in the operational budget.
• Serve as program lead for AACVPR certification and ensure accreditation standards.
• Lead quality and process improvement to enhance patient outcomes and efficiency.
• Coordinate daily operations and workflow for safe, high-quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and standards.
• Promote exceptional patient experiences and satisfaction through leadership.
• Support staff in resolving clinical and operational issues through evidence-based practice.
• Foster interdisciplinary communication among providers, staff, patients, families.

Oversee the work of the Cardiac Rehab Department. Has responsibility for the management of all staff and operations within Cardiac Rehab. Reports to the Director.

Job Description:

• Day Shift M, T, Th 7a-5p, 4 hours Wednesday or Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of Cardiac Rehabilitation staff.
