Stobhill Hospital

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

This role offers an innovative opportunity to practice as one of the first clinical pharmacy technicians in mental health services within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will join the pharmacy team at Stobhill Hospital and contribute to a new model of integrated pharmacy care on the wards, serving patients from the northeast of Glasgow.

The successful candidate must be:

  • A pharmacy technician registered with the GPhC.
  • Having at least 2 years of post-registration experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Possessing an accredited dispensary accuracy checking qualification.
  • Having a strong interest in mental health practice is desirable; training and education will be provided.
