Job summary

Elysium Healthcare Limited is recruiting a GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician for a specialist mental health service in Thatcham, Berkshire. You will contribute to medication safety, governance and the development of pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary team.

The role goes beyond dispensing, providing expertise across the service, supporting clinical and non-clinical colleagues, maintaining high standards of medication management, and participating in audits and training.

Qualifications

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with GPhC.
• Two years of supervised practical experience in a pharmacy environment.
• Commitment to safe and effective medication management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medication is ordered, dispensed and received efficiently with the GP service and nursing teams.
• Support safe storage of medication with nursing teams and respond to safety alerts.
• Attend monthly multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to clinical governance.
• Maintain professional standards and registration, escalating quality concerns as needed.
• Provide pharmacy technician support across departments and participate in audits.
