The Position Shape the Future of Medicine with Data Are you a STEM student passionate about using your analytical skills to improve lives? Join our Clinical Pharmacology Science and analytics team within the Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology Department for an office‑based industrial placement and help bring innovative medicines to patients. Our purpose is to drive benefit to every patient by selecting the right drug and dosing regimen, and you can be a part of that mission. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, applying your skills to ensure new drugs are safe and effective. During the placement you will be based in the Roche UK offices at the Welwyn Garden City site. This is not a laboratory based placement and candidates will be required to be based in the office.

Who you are:

We're seeking curious, collaborative, and creative problem‑solvers from any STEM background who are eager to learn and make a difference. The ideal candidate is:

• A current undergraduate student in your second year of your Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree with a strong academic record.
• A great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic about learning new skills and tackling new challenges.
• Familiarity with a programming language (like R or Python) is a plus, but your eagerness to learn is what counts most.

Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Candidates must already hold valid authorisation to work in the UK.
