Job description

Medacy is looking to recruit clinical pharmacists to support practices whilst working from home.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOOKING TO RECRUIT FOR PERMANENT POSITIONS. WE ARE NOT LOOKING TO ENGAGE LOCUM PHARMACISTS.

We have opportunities in SystmOne and Emis practices.

The role will involve playing a full and active role as part of the practice multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

  • Independent Prescriber Status with active prescribing experience
  • Completed the Primary Care pharmacy education pathway (PCPEP)
  • Excellent clinical knowledge
  • The commitment to continue to learn and develop
  • The confidence to work as part of a busy GP practice
  • The ability to adapt to convey information to patients and fellow healthcare professionals

Qualifications and Skills

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Hold Personal Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Be able to demonstrate commitment to CPD
  • Clinical Diploma beneficial but not essential
