Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join Montpelier Health, an integral part of the Bristol Inner City Primary Care Network. The primary focus of this role is to provide crucial support to the general practice workforce and enhance patient care at Montpelier Health Centre. We are committed to the development of this role in alignment with the national Clinical Pharmacist program, as outlined in the NHS GP Contract Briefing. The successful candidate will receive support to complete the CPPE Pathway: Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway (CPPE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the general practice team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Conduct medication reviews and provide expert advice on prescribing.
  • Support the management of long-term conditions and contribute to the improvement of patient care.
  • Engage in the development of protocols and guidelines to enhance pharmacy services within the practice.
  • Actively participate in training and continuous professional development activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Relevant clinical experience in a primary care setting.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
