Summary:

As a Clinical Pharmacist at NHS Jobs, you will play a crucial role in the practice-based team, focusing on medication reviews, prescribing improvement, and patient care in high-risk groups. Your responsibilities will include clinical assessment, treatment, and proactive management of patients with chronic diseases, especially in vulnerable populations. Additionally, you will provide specialist expertise, lead changes in prescribing practices, and collaborate with community pharmacy colleagues.

Qualifications & Training:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in pharmacy.
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) and working towards RPS Faculty membership.
  • Hold an independent prescribing qualification and a postgraduate pharmacy qualification.
  • Qualified from an accredited training pathway for clinical pharmacists in primary care settings.
