Summary: Join a leading Surrey hospital for specialist elective healthcare, boasting exciting new Clinical Pharmacist opportunities within its on-site pharmacy. The hospital, rated “Good” by the CQC, offers independent medical and surgical care across diverse clinical specialties to patients from Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex, and beyond.

The pharmacy team provides vital support to all clinical departments, including the bustling outpatients department, imaging services, and inpatients on the surgical pathway. Oncology pharmacy specialists play a crucial role in supporting a busy oncology unit, delivering SACT treatments as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Two options are available based on your experience:

  • Clinical Pharmacist – 12-month FTC, up to £48,000 p.a.
  • Senior Clinical Pharmacist – permanent, up to £56,000 p.a.

Collaborate closely with medical consultants to assess, treat, and counsel patients, with ample opportunities for clinical progression, especially within oncology.

Person Specification:

  • (Essential) MPharm, OSPAP, or equivalent Pharmacy degree
  • (Essential) GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • (Essential) At least 12 months’ experience within a hospital pharmacy setting
  • (For Senior role) Clinical Pharmacy diploma with hospital focus or equivalent experience
  • (For Senior role) Previous oncology pharmacy training
