Job Summary:

SS9 offers an exciting opportunity for a diligent, enthusiastic, and innovative pharmacist to join our primary care network on a full-time basis, for 37.5 hours per week. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in optimizing medicines management processes, ensuring highly effective, safe, and patient-centered prescribing within a defined locality across multiple surgeries. You will work autonomously but with the support of a multi-professional primary care team.

Main Duties of the Job:

Maintain registration as a pharmacist and adhere to appropriate professional codes.

Plan and organize workload, including audit, project work, and providing training sessions for other team members.

Stay updated with medical/therapeutic evidence and opinion, local and national service, legislation, and policy developments.

Develop strong working relationships with community pharmacists and other stakeholders.

Attend relevant local, regional, and national meetings.

Fulfill any other duties as agreed with the locality and/or practice lead GPs.
