Job summary

Oakridge Park Medical Centre in Milton Keynes is seeking an NHS England ARRS Clinical Pharmacist to join a multidisciplinary Primary Care Network team. You will deliver patient-facing pharmaceutical care, medicines optimisation, and support access to clinical care while reducing GP workload.

The role involves structured medication reviews, prescribing within scope, MDT collaboration, and ensuring safe, cost-effective prescribing across practices.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with GPhC and eligible for ARRS employment.
• Post-registration experience in primary care or general practice preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously with sound clinical judgment.
• Good IT skills and ability to use GP clinical systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured medication reviews for patients with complex needs.
• Provide clinical advice on prescribing, medicines optimisation, and deprescribing.
• Manage medication-related queries from patients and staff.
• Support chronic disease management clinics per protocols.
• Undertake medication reconciliation after hospital discharge.
• Prescribe medicines independently where qualified.
• Identify and manage medicines-related safety issues and risks.
