We’re a large, hardworking team of GPs, clinical professionals, allied health professionals and administrative colleagues who share one goal: providing the best possible care for our community.

We take our work seriously, but we believe work should be enjoyable too! We’re proud of our supportive, family-feel environment, where teamwork, learning and looking after one another really matter.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our established pharmacy team, with hours available up to full-time.

You’ll work alongside our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, playing a vital role in medicines optimisation and patient safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting face-to-face and telephone clinics
  • Carrying out medication reviews and long-term condition reviews
  • Supporting patients with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and respiratory disease
  • Reviewing pain management and following up blood test results
  • Supporting our busy repeat prescription workflow
  • Helping ensure medicines are prescribed safely and appropriately
  • Providing support and leadership to our pharmacy technicians, pharmacist trainees and prescription call handlers

Your clinical caseload will be tailored to your experience, with opportunities to broaden your knowledge and develop your skills.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Ideally, you’ll have experience working with GP clinical systems and a good understanding of the local NHS landscape.

You’ll be a confident communicator, comfortable working with patients, community pharmacies, hospital departments and other healthcare professionals.

We also welcome applications from pharmacists working in other sectors who are keen to bring their skills into primary care.

WHY JOIN US?

At Kingswood Medical Group, you’ll find more than just a job.

  • Opportunities to develop your clinical knowledge and expertise
  • A training environment that encourages learning and progression
  • A contributory pension scheme
  • Reimbursement of professional fees and indemnity insurance
  • On-site parking
  • Free tea and coffee
  • A positive approach to work-life balance
  • Full-time hours of 37.5 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday
  • Part-time working also considered
