Aneurin Bevan University Health Board supports flexible working.

There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum. This top-up will be in place until the 2025/26 pay uplift is confirmed.

Job Overview

Exciting career opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic pharmacists to join the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) Pharmacy team. Applications are welcomed from those expecting to gain their postgraduate clinical pharmacy diploma this year.

Main duties of the job

In line with the Health Board’s Clinical Futures programme, the directorate is developing a range of band 7 rotations based at Royal Gwent Hospital. The posts involve a rotational programme across clinical specialties, providing opportunities to develop autonomy and responsibility within a multidisciplinary team. Development opportunities include non-medical prescribing, pharmacist-led clinics, quality improvement, research, and training skills, including pre-registration tutoring.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
