A local healthcare organization is seeking a Programme Manager to improve personalized cancer care pathways. The role requires a dynamic individual with experience in cancer nursing or relevant health professions. You will deliver projects that enhance access and quality of cancer treatment while collaborating with various stakeholders in the healthcare system.
We are seeking to recruit a Programme Manager to join our innovative and transformative team. The post holder will work closely with the Clinical Lead for Cancer Nursing and AHPs to deliver projects supporting personalised cancer care and treatment variation, including the Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) project.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to support us in the delivery of our Clinical Pathway Programme. This programme of work would ideally suit a cancer nurse, pharmacist, or allied health professional (AHP) interested in project work and making system-wide improvements to Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) pathways, delivering care closer to home, and ensuring patients experience personalised cancer care and improvements in access to prehabilitation across the Alliance.
The post holder will work as part of the TVCA team in delivering the Cancer Alliance's objectives and priorities identified within NHS England's cancer plan. They will lead a programme to deliver projects that drive quality service improvement and promote excellence in cancer care. Key working relationships will include NHS England, primary and secondary care, voluntary sector organisations, and all staff delivering care to people affected by cancer. The post requires leadership and analytical skills, technical competence, attention to detail, and collaborative working with effective communication skills across the system.

Thames Valley Cancer Alliance is a partnership that brings together leaders from hospital trusts, GPs, primary care, and health and social organisations, covering nearly 1.8 million people. Our aim is to improve diagnosis, treatment, and care for cancer patients in our area.
The NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire West (BOB) Integrated Care Board is responsible for planning and delivering health and care services for these communities. We work collaboratively with local government, the voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector, and people across the BOB ICS.
