A health services organization in Marston Green is seeking a qualified professional to deliver psychological assessments and therapies. The role involves working with forensic populations and providing supervision and training. The key elements of the role include delivering psychological assessments, developing case/team formulation, and running individual and group therapies. The post holder will offer reflective practice, supervision and training (qualified psychologists and non-psychologists), and have opportunities to conduct audit/research. Contributing to and leading on service development projects is an important part of this role. The successful candidate will work closely with others to deliver on service projects and therapies. There is opportunity for personal and service development. Post holders may be required to work flexibly as needed to meet service demands. The psychology department at Brooklands is a well-established and supportive service and the successful applicant will receive support to further develop their skills and knowledge, through good quality supervision and training opportunities. The team uses multiple therapeutic approaches including CBT, CAT, CFT, EMDR and Schema Therapy. The service offers a range of clinical and offence-focused treatment programmes e.g., DBT and structured offence programmes and PBS is embedded in the service.
The successful candidate will have post-qualification experience of working with forensic populations and/or considerable experience of working with people with Intellectual (learning) disabilities who present considerable risk to others.
