A leading eye care provider in Canterbury is looking for an Optometrist with GOC registration and at least 12 months post-registration experience. This role involves assessing patients for cataract surgery and providing patient-centric care. The right candidate will be motivated to grow in their clinical skills and take advantage of supportive training opportunities. This role would suit an Optometrist who has 12 months post-registration experience and holds current GOC registration. You will be willing to expand your horizons and take the leap into the clinical side of optometry. Our Optometrists provide independent eye care and make assessments on the need for cataract surgery ensuring patients understand the risks and benefits and providing reassurance throughout.
If successful, we will support your professional development. We can potentially offer training in YAG laser; this is dependant on the sites activity and what services are offered in the area.
