Job summary

Mainspring Recovery seeks a capable Clinical Manager to oversee clinical operations across ASAM levels at our Dumfries-based facility. You will collaborate with the Clinical Director to guide staff and ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

The role emphasizes supervision, documentation accuracy, and coordination with medical and administrative teams to maintain compliance and ethical treatment standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active Virginia behavioral health license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Resident, Supervisee, or equivalent).
• Ability to supervise associate level licensure.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations across ASAM levels of care.
• Provide guidance and oversight to clinical staff under direction of Clinical Director.
• Ensure clinical documentation meets ASAM criteria and payer requirements.
• Support onboarding, training, supervision, and performance management of staff.
• Conduct chart reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities for compliance.

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
