Hours: 40 hours/week, plus 1 in 5 weekends, and participation in an on-call rota
Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 depending on skills and experience held
Blythwood (part of Linnaeus) are seeking to appoint a Clinical Nursing Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team and support the nurse teams across two sites.
The clinical team manages a variety of cases, including routine surgery, orthopedic cases, dentistry, and medical cases.
Your role and responsibilities
As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will advocate for veterinary nursing, lead from the front, foster a culture of continuous improvement, clinical excellence, and development across all sites. You will ensure quality assurance of nursing care and SOPs, oversee learning and development aligned with practice growth, and provide strategic, professional, and operational leadership for the nursing team. You will focus on nurse utilization to improve services and contribute as a nursing voice to the Senior Leadership Team, managing complex workloads within tight timescales.
