An educational trust is seeking a Clinical Nurse Trainer to enhance the competencies of staff working with children and young people with complex learning disabilities. The role involves designing and delivering clinical training, managing training programs, and ensuring high standards of care. Applicants must be Registered Nurses with relevant training experience and a passion for education.
Here at Seashell, we provide care and education for children and young people (up to 25 years old) with severe, profound, and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, sensory impairment and communication disorders and autism.We are recruiting a Clinical Nurse Trainer to work closely with our Nursing Lead and our Learning and Development Team to train our support staff. This role will provide clinical training and competency checking throughout all education and care services and will ensure all medical procedures are carried out to the highest standards to support the needs of the children and young people at the Seashell Trust
Designing and delivering high quality clinical training reflecting the needs of the current student cohortDevelop induction training materials to ensure all contact staff receive robust training in all clinical mandatory areas, specialising in supporting our residential care teamAssess training needs and manage the design and delivery of education and training programmesOversee the clinical training database to evidence compliance with requirements of professional and regulatory bodies (NMC, CSP, CQC and Ofsted)Evaluate the effectiveness of training deliveredContribute to a positive health and safety culture within the Trust
