Clinical Nurse Specialist - Tissue Viability

Thisis an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Tissue Viability Team inBridgewater. You will lead in theassessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of tissue viabilityservices across Bridgewater. You willprovide expert advice and clinical practice to all service users and work incollaboration with clinical colleagues to develop services and improve thequality of care delivered. You will workwith your TVN Colleagues to lead development of clinical guidelines and evaluateresearch and transfer innovations across the trust.

Main duties of the job

You will act as a TVN resource for thepopulation of Warrington and Halton. You will Ensure the effective andefficient use of physical and financial resources; make recommendationsregarding supplies and equipment.

You will monitor health, safety and security ofself and others and promote best practice in the clinical area.

You will lead/participate in the developmentand implementation of new services within the Trust to improve the patientjourney.

Your role will include the evaluation of servicedelivery, identifying areas for improvement and initiate change.

With the team you will develop and reviewpolicies, procedures and guidelines relevant to own area of work.

Your role will include establishingeffective networks both locally and nationally promoting and embracing bestpractice

Job responsibilities

Youwill act as a resource to the DN service supporting the assessment, planning,implementation and evaluation of programmes of evidenced-based nursing care.

Youwill work with TVN colleagues to lead the development of clinical serviceswithin the specialist field.

Youwill participate in service development and implementation of change.

Youwill evaluate research data and transfer relevant innovations across theborough.

Yourrole will be a Tissue Viability resource for the population of Warrington.
