An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our Neurosciences service for 9 months as a full- time Clinical Nurse Specialist working within the TANDeM Service at the Evelina London Children's Hospital . The service provides a comprehensive diagnostic and management service for children affected by tics and Neuro-developmental Movements. Our clinic is part of the children's neurosciences centre at St Thomas' Hospital, the largest children's neurosciences service in Europe.
The service is a longstanding and well-regarded tertiary centre which has a national (and international) reputation and receives referrals from districts in the whole of the South East region and UK more broadly.
We are looking for a motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist with a keen interest in working with children, young people and families with tics, movement disorders and/or neurodevelopmental conditions.

The post-holder will contribute to multidisciplinary complex assessment clinics and provide evidence-based direct and indirect intervention to children, young people and families with tics and other movement disorders, including medication monitoring. This is an interesting and varied role with scope to develop further specialist knowledge and skills within the context of the multi-disciplinary team. You will be working with a Consultant Neurologist, Consultant Neuropsychiatrist and Clinical Psychologists. Supervision will be provided by an experienced practitioner and there are good opportunities for professional development. We are a dedicated and supportive team with a commitment to research, audit and evaluation and there are many active projects within the department.
