We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Stem Cell Transplant Unit at The London Cancer Clinic, located in the Duchess of Devonshire Wing, Devonshire Place, London (W1G 6JA). We offer a competitive salary range of £50,713 - £60,848 per annum.

Our Stem Cell Transplant unit is a purpose-built facility, one of Anthony Nolan’s largest stem cell collection centers in Europe for peripheral blood and bone marrow donors. It has 12 beds with positive pressure ventilation and HEPA filtration, enabling us to treat patients with hematological malignancies using SACT and stem cell transplants including Allogeneic, Autologous, Cord, Haplo, and CAR-T therapies. We are the first independent private hospital in the UK to attain JACIE accreditation, recognizing our quality standards.

Job Profile

The post holder will collaborate closely with haematology consultants and nursing teams at TLC to coordinate all aspects of pre, peri, and post-transplant care, including investigations, work-up, TBI, inpatient stay, and follow-up for all stem cell transplant patients. As part of the multidisciplinary team, they will work to deliver high standards of specialist nursing care within hematology, facilitate evidence-based practice, and contribute to the development of the hematology service at TLC.

  • Provide specialist knowledge, expertise, and care to haemato-oncology patients.
  • Ensure continual optimal care for inpatients, outpatients, and their families.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs, including HNA tool completion.
  • Support patients and families during diagnosis, treatment decisions, stem cell transplants, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy.

Skills & Experience

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  • Master’s degree (or working towards) in a relevant field or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
  • Extensive post-registration experience in haemato-oncology care.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and team flexibility.
  • Significant clinical experience post-registration.
