Job summary
We are recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Gynae Oncology who shares our vision to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This exciting role will give you the opportunity to contribute to the specialist care and management of patients, who are having treatment within MVCC
You will gain a valuable insight into supporting patients at diagnosis and through the cancer pathway, including on and post treatment and when disease recurs or advances.
In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,134 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata.

Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will work as part of the CNS team and have previous oncology experience.
You will work closely with the Clinical Oncologists and the wider MDT.
You will provide specialist knowledge and support to patients by phone or in person while in clinic.
You'll have the ability to carry out holistic needs assessments with patients at specific time points within their journey.
Within this role, you will need to manage an independent workload.
