A leading healthcare provider in Nottingham is seeking an experienced registered children's nurse to join the Burns and Plastics Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing care for children suffering from acute burns and plastics injuries. This permanent, part-time position requires strong clinical knowledge and the ability to lead and mentor team members. Competitive salary range of £47,810 to £54,710 per year offered.

Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic registered children's nurse to work within the Nottingham Children's Burns and Plastics Team.

The successful candidate will join a team of other specialist nurses caring for children you have sustained acute burns and plastics injuries. You will be hospital based with a responsibility to see children in inpatient and outpatient settings and to liaise with families at home.

Main duties of the job

The Nottingham Children's Burns and Plastics Unit is looking for an experienced nurse to join our team. Our busy progressive unit, caring for children and young people who have sustained burns and plastics injuries from across the East Midlands.

The post holder will lead the burns and plastics nurse specialists in the care of children and young people.

You will be hospital based with a responsibility to see children in the inpatient and outpatient settings and to liaise with the wider multi-disciplinary team.

You will be a clinical and professional role model with a passion for the delivery of high quality clinical care and the support and development of others. You will be an effective team player, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to teach families and health professionals. You will be working as part of a dynamic and forward thinking multi-professional team, offering key opportunities to develop your career as a nurse specialist.
