Job description

In this role, you'll enjoy a balance of office-based and community-based responsibilities, applying your clinical skills in a diverse and rewarding environment.

Office-based work (23 days per week) in Peterborough (PE2): Here you'll work from our local office alongside our operational team. Duties include carrying out clinical assessments, care planning, delivering training, staff supervisions, and contributing to client reviews and staff appraisals— all essential for ensuring our care services remain safe, effective, and person-centred.

Community-based work (23 days per week): You'll travel to clients' homes across Nottingham, Leicester, and Lincoln, conducting new referral assessments, spot checks, risk assessments, and competency assessments. This gives you the chance to build meaningful relationships with service users and their families.

This dual role offers variety, flexibility, and the satisfaction of seeing the direct impact of your expertise on people's lives.

Main duties of the job
  • Take clinical ownership of your client caseload, creating and managing bespoke care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and reviews of complex care packages.
  • Develop and manage personalised care plans.
  • Lead and deliver training to healthcare staff on clinical procedures.
  • Supervise and appraise healthcare assistants.
  • Ensure safe practice through audits, risk assessments, and quality monitoring.
  • Support recruitment processes and staff induction.
  • Maintain full compliance with CQC standards and NMC code of practice.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, their families, and care teams.

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Confidence in tracheostomy, ventilation, enteral feeding, and suctioning care for children
