A healthcare foundation in the UK is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Gynaecology Oncology nursing team. You will be responsible for providing patient-focused care for those living with cancer and will work closely with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have experience at Band 5 or 6, exhibit passion for Gynaecology services, and possess strong communication skills. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Rotherham Foundation Trust for a full time Clinical Nurse Specialist, Band 6, within the Gynaecology Oncology nursing team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse who is passionate about delivering patient focused individualised care for those on a Gynaecology cancer pathway or living with cancer.
The role of a Clinical Nurse Specialist is fast paced & varied and requires excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach and ability to communicate with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
You will act as an advocate for patients and their care, providing seamless and timely management within the cancer pathway whilst maintaining high standards. You will provide comprehensive support and provide information and results to patients and families following a cancer diagnosis.
This opportunity requires you to be flexible, committed, and self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to work both independently, as part of a small team, whilst also supporting each other in a fast paced environment and the wider MDT.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced nurse working at Band 5 or 6 with a passionate interest in gynaecology Cancer services.

Main duties of the jobThe Gynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialists work in collaboration with the Gynaecology oncology multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical expertise, planning of care and health needs of patients with gynaecological cancer.
