Bean 5 is a high-paced 43-bed medical respiratory unit with an embedded 8-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), including an Assisted Ventilator Unit (AVU).
The patient population includes acute on chronic states, respiratory failure, complex vascular, general surgical, neuroscience conditions, sepsis, and multisystem organ failure.
RNs in the Bean 5 IMC/AVU demonstrate critical assessment and thinking skills, managing patients with multi-system issues requiring continuous monitoring, medications, interventions, and respiratory support, including ventilator management and weaning.
Working on Bean 5 offers experience in medical telemetry, IMC, and AVU, in a team focused on high standards of nursing care and excellent patient and family service.
This is a full-time day shift position, consisting of 3, 12-hour shifts per week.
