The Womens, Childrens and Clinical Services Directorate are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Clinical Nurse Manager to our Gynaecology Service. The postholder will be responsible for leadership and service development across our acute and outpatient services at two hospital sites.
We require a dedicated clinical leader with extensive experience at AfC band 7. The role involves service development, with evidence of continued professional development and education. The post holder will oversee service provision, ensuring adherence to local and national guidelines and targets.
Our service is modern and progressive, with subspecialty nursing roles in Gynae Oncology, Colposcopy, Urogynae, Infertility, Menopause, Early Pregnancy, and Termination of Pregnancy, alongside inpatient and 24-hour emergency gynae ward. The postholder will lead further improvements within the Gynaecology service.
The service has seen significant investment, including a purpose-built inpatient gynaecology ward in 2023 and a new outpatient unit at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, in March 2025.
Fife is located on Scotland's east coast, between Edinburgh and Dundee. It boasts rich history, scenic attractions, and famous golf courses. Main towns include Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, and St Andrews, known for its university and golf heritage. The Fife Coastal Path offers scenic walks.
