Shift times: Monday –Friday

We’re looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager to join the General Surgical Ward at The Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for the Surgical ward (covering Urology, Gastro, Hepatobiliary ,Gynaecology and Colorectal)plays a pivotal role in enhancing patient experiences and delivering exceptional clinical and professional leadership to the team.
This position provides mentorship and support to junior staff, serving as both a clinical expert and role model. The CNM ensures that the highest standards of care are maintained through rigorous monitoring of both personal and team clinical competence.
This role also involves responsibility for fostering development initiatives, implementing evidence-based practices, and delivering a quality service to patients, their families, and other stakeholders.
The CNM is responsible for managing daily operations within the surgical ward, adhering to budgetary guidelines, and meeting workforce planning objectives.
The role requires active promotion of the Unit within Princess Grace Hospital and HCA, as well as participation in relevant forums to drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring:
Registered Nurse qualification
Minimum of 5 years of post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in a similar setting (e.g. Urology, Gastro, Hepatobiliary ,Gynaecology and Colorectal)
Specialty certification relevant to the general surgery ward
Certification in Teaching, Assessing, or Mentorship
Management qualification desirable
